I drew on my desk and the teacher got mad. So I confess, I drew on a library book instead. They’ll lock me up and toss out the key. Kick a life to kaput for doodling in PE.
A little more portrait practice this week. Something dark and a little different from the bright colors I often enjoy. In addition eagle eyed fans will notice the master of the macabre lurking in the background! It’s a kind of fan art on several levels. I was captivated by the reference photo, the painting is done in the style of an artist I recently discovered, and the backdrop is from an author I was delighted by at an early age.
Dew kissed dirt and cans that clutter the curb. A red ripped skirt and screams that nobody heard. Trailer park games and a future already written. Rejected, enraged, for life and last night and for all that they’ve taken!
You can feel the heat radiating from this painting! This watercolor portrait of a beautiful girl soaking up the sun is hot and edgy! It takes the classic black and white sketch, runs it through meat grinder, and chucks it on the grill! Fried to perfection! Decorated with splatters, scratches, and scribbles it embodies the vivid chaos that reflects the spirit of living life on your own terms. There is also a worn and distressed quality to the print that accentuates the rugged and fully lived quality. It’s perfect for anyone looking for edgy room decor! And it’s not just for posters! This design can be printed on a deluge of other products! A canvas, tablecloth, tea cup, little Billy’s baby blanket, or even Uncle Boyd’s boisterous back hair! Well, that last one might be tough, but we’re willing if he is! Whatever you place it on, just remember that it was painted just for you by Curmudgeon County Collectables! Check it out on our store!
