Monsters Under the Bed!

Today we’re starting a new series called Coloring Calvin and Hobbes! We’re going to be picking some of the classic daily strips and adding a little color, in various styles, to pay tribute to this wondrous comic by Bill Watterson. So pull out your old C&H comic books, grab some colored pencils, crayons, or markers and join us on this journey! Don’t have a C&H comic book? No problem, all the strips are available online, just click here to find this strip on GoComics! This week we see Calvin threatening the monsters under his bed. I love the expression on Hobbes’ face in the second panel!

Camping with a Cryptid

I hope you all enjoyed your holiday, we sure did! Nothing gets the blood pumping and brings about a renewed appreciation for life than being chased by an unidentified cryptid through the Alaskan wilderness!

Just in time for Halloween!

Grab your own copy of this tale that sorta kinda maybe could be true…The legends of this beast stretch far and wide, from the ocean, through the trees, and even to the sea side. Everybody knows about little Ralphie Jones and how he disappeared from underneath his mother’s nose! The Limptwig family visiting from Albany, how they were and then they were no more, that sneaky Snooglie Booglie! Caleb Quakerbush, Sally and her hamster Hammy Hush, and Sheriff Stu Magoo, everybody knows “The Snooze” the time he disappeared, wrestled with the monster, and then they called a truce! The legend grows everyday! It’s the Snooglie Booglie and you know he’s here to stay!Stories abound about this wild fiend that stalks the snow covered streets and cloaks himself in the shadows of the trees. The missing Demure family of the 1960’s, poor little Bobby Pinkus of 1993, Sally and Shane the fancy campers up from Maine, Crazy Lou and his dog Sloppy Stew and the bloody rocks along One Mile Slough. The tales of the Snooglie Booglie could fill a whole library, but we’ll start here, with this itty-bitty story! Grab your copy soon, share it with your little ones and read it in their room. Tell the tale under moonlight, or the lamplight by the bedside, the Snooglie Boooglie doesn’t mind, he’s coming soon to tuck you in and wish you all a good, good, good, goodnight!
