Here are a couple pages from our story The Simpleton Solution that can be found as a bonus in the book Alaska’s Spooky Snooglie Booglie Story! An “uplifting” speech given by the leader of Affluencia to his people. Buffoon is one of those characters who is so self-absorbed that he doesn’t realize how ridiculous he really is. I love the expression on Hobbes’ face in the second panel!
This is a little concept comic I did a while back called Death Bites. It’s about a group of cute “creatures” that work for the Grim Reaper and are in charge of wooing people into the afterlife. Rather unsuccessfully for our main character of course.
One for all the Calvin and Hobbes fans out there! Bill Watterson’s wonderful creation introduced me to the first poetry I fell for, brightened my world with his watercolor, and was the first one to draw my attention to Einstein’s theory of relativity. Thanks Bill.
