For those unfamiliar with the term, a cheechako refers to someone new to Alaska, as opposed to a sourdough which refers to someone who has been in the state for some time. It goes back to the gold rush days when more seasoned miners would refer to new comers as cheechakos. https://www.valisemag.com/guides/alaska/glossary/cheechako/
And so concludes our three strip arc of this convoluted plan! While not the most visually striking (though it was a lot of fun to scribble out), it is one of my favorites, based on the absurdity alone. Like a Rube Goldberg device!
It’s just another day at the office this week! Work isn’t always what we dreamed it would be, but when life gives you lemons….feel free to make a face as you choke them down. So enjoy the weekend, cuz Monday is just around the corner!
Looking on the bright side on this beautiful autumn day! I was really in the mood to do a bit of a landscape and to see the mountains. Welcome to our latest project! Clean Up Crew Comic! Follow along with these three janitors at Dixon City High through their small town shenanigans and otherworldly adventures!
