This project is starting to take shape. I had the idea for this Pipsqueak project for quite a while, but was never sure what look it should have. I tried some different ideas, but wasn’t real happy with any of them until this most recent incarnation. Using this ultra flat paper cutout look.
Camping can be a delightful experience…being eaten alive by bugs, strange growls in the middle of the night, and somehow waking up to find a pond in the tent when you could swear it was dry when you laid down. I guess camping isn’t for everyone. 😜
So it seems that today is national shower with a friend day…cuz that’s a thing…so we conclude our Pipsqueak saga today with a little view of an Alaskan shower!
Welcome back to Coloring Calvin and Hobbes! We’re picking some of the classic daily strips and adding a little color, in various styles, to pay tribute to this delightful comic by Bill Watterson. So pull out your old C&H comic books, grab some colored pencils, crayons, or markers and join us on this journey! Don’t have a C&H comic book? No problem, all the strips are available online, just click here to find C&H on GoComics! This week we see a happy camping excursion gone awry by pondering the possibility of the afterlife. I love the expressions in the final panel!
I hope you all enjoyed your holiday, we sure did! Nothing gets the blood pumping and brings about a renewed appreciation for life than being chased by an unidentified cryptid through the Alaskan wilderness!
