The “High Art” of Cartooning!

Some people, and gallery’s, feel that comics and cartoons are not worthy of being considered “real” art. This is a piece I did recently to remind me, if no one else, that a drawing is a drawing no matter what the approach or style. No matter if you’re approach is more based is realism or more caricatured the principles are the same. Each makes use of line, value, perspective, etc. The only difference is are the proportions you choose to employ. So celebrate the “high art” of cartooning! 🥳

Misanthrope!

An old piece that will be featured in an upcoming project! 🤓

Watercolor Doodles!

I’ve loved watercolor since I was a kid. Bright, delicate, and full of whimsy. They are a perfect medium…maybe one day I’ll learn how to use them effectively. 😜

Don’t Fear the Reaper!

Here is the cover for the new storybook, Don’t Fear the Reaper! Going to print soon! I had a lot of fun with this project doing a number of landscapes in addition to character illustrations.

Bonus Material!

Some of the bonus material in our upcoming project Don’t Fear the Reaper will be original thumbnails! 🤓
